Daily Backups

Every passkey signs you in, but only some can lock Daily Backups. Which ones work, how to tell, and why the wrong kind does not switch backups on.

A locked backup can only be opened with a key you hold. How each way of unlocking works, and what happens if you lose them all.

What to set up in your own bucket or container, what the connect form asks for, and how GetCalendario checks whether its key can read your files back.

Connect Dropbox from Daily Backups, see what it asks to allow, where the nightly files appear, and what to know before you rely on it.

Pick a calendar and a night, unlock the file in your browser, and download a standard calendar file you import into Google Calendar or Outlook yourself.

Choose where each night’s copy of your calendars goes, lock it so only you can open it, and get a day back when you need it.
