The team activity log
Updated 9 October 2026
The activity log is a list on the Activity tab of People & Team. It records what people did to the team itself: who was invited, who joined, who was removed, which rules were changed and who changed them. It does not record anyone's calendars, events or syncs.
Only people allowed to see it get the tab. That is the Owner, and anyone in a group that includes the ability See the activity log. The Admins group has it from the start. The Everyone group does not, so an ordinary member does not see the tab. You can give the ability to a smaller group of your own. See Team groups and permissions.
What the screen shows
Each line is one plain sentence with the date and time on the right, in your own time zone. The newest line is first, and the tab shows the latest 100. When nothing has happened yet it says "Nothing has happened on this team yet."
Lines are written once and are not edited, with one exception, covered below, for deleted accounts.
What is logged
- Invitations and joining. "Dana Cruz invited sam@fabrikam.com.", "Sam Lee (sam@fabrikam.com) accepted an invitation and joined.", requests to join approved or declined, people added directly, and people who joined automatically because they sign in at the team's domain. See How to invite someone to your team.
- Domains. A domain claimed, verified with DNS, or removed. See How people with your company email join your team.
- People leaving. Leave, Remove, Release and Restore, and an account deleted by its owner, by GetCalendario support, or deleted 30 days after removal. See Leaving, removing and releasing people from a team.
- Ownership. Offering the team to someone, and whether they accepted, declined or didn't answer, a withdrawn offer, a request to take it over, a refusal, and a takeover that went through because the Owner did not answer in time. See Who owns a team.
- Policies and abilities. A policy turned on, changed, applied now or turned off, the day it took effect and for how many people, and abilities taken away. See Team policies.
- Groups. Groups made, renamed or deleted, what a group can do changed, and people added to or taken out of a group.
- Sign-in set-up under a policy. When someone sets up an authenticator app or passkey after signing in another way, the line says so.
- Closing the team.
Counts and reasons, not content
Where a line concerns many people, it gives a number. A whole-domain invitation is one line, "Dana Cruz invited 7 people at fabrikam.com.", not seven names. The names of people who have not accepted are not shown. A policy taking effect reads "The ... policy took effect for 3 people."
Where there is a reason, it is in the sentence. For example, if a Release was pressed but the team's rules no longer allowed it by the time it ran, the line says so and that the person is still on the team.
The log never holds events, calendar names or the contents of a sync. What the team can and cannot see in general is in What a team can and cannot see.
Deleted accounts
When someone's account is deleted, their lines stay but lose their name. As the one who did something, they appear as "A deleted account". As the person something was done to, the sentence reads "a deleted account", and an address an invitation was sent to is cleared. So a line that read "Dana Cruz removed Sam Lee (sam@fabrikam.com)." later reads "Dana Cruz removed a deleted account." This keeps the history of what the team did without keeping a deleted person's details.
What to know
- The log is read-only on the screen: there is nothing to edit or delete.
- It is not a list of what people did in their own accounts. Syncs, rules and backups belong to the person.
- If you cannot see the tab and think you should, ask the Owner or an Admin to check your group.
