How the GetCalendario referral punch card works

Updated 7 October 2026

The referral punch card gives you a free year of GetCalendario for bringing in people who pay. You share your personal link, and each person who signs up through it and takes a paid plan earns you stamps. Fill the card and turn it in for 12 months free, of any plan you choose.

Everything lives on the Refer & Earn page. It shows your card, your link, and a list of everyone who has signed up through you.

A referral punch card with 8 slots and 2 already stamped; a friend on a monthly plan earns 1 stamp and on a yearly plan 3, and every full card earns a free year

What does the card look like?

The card has 8 slots. Two of them are already stamped when you arrive, as a head start, so you have 6 to earn on your first card. The page counts down with a line such as "Only 6 more stamps until you get a free year!"

The stamps on the card are drawn in four ways, and the key under the card explains each:

  • Earned: they paid, and it has stuck. This stamp is permanent.
  • Counting down: they paid. It becomes permanent once the subscription has lasted a month.
  • Signed up: they came through your link but have not taken a paid plan. Nothing counts until they do.
  • Still to go: an empty slot.

What earns a stamp?

A stamp is for a paid plan, never for a signup or a trial. Someone who signs up through your link and stays on the 14-day trial or the Free plan earns you nothing yet.

  • A person who takes a monthly plan is worth 1 stamp.
  • A person who takes a yearly plan is worth 3 stamps.

Why does a stamp wait a month?

When someone you referred pays, the stamp shows as "Counting down" with a message such as "Permanent in 12 days". The waiting period is 30 days by default. It exists so that someone who cancels in the first weeks never pays out a free year.

If their subscription ends before the waiting period is over, the stamp does not count and the list shows "Lapsed before it counted". Once a stamp has become permanent it is never taken back, even if that person cancels later. The stamps are made permanent by a check that runs hourly, so a stamp whose countdown has reached zero can show "Due, becomes permanent at the next check" for a short while.

What do I get when the card is full?

You get an email, and the card waits for you to turn it in on the Subscription page, for 12 months free of any plan you choose, monthly or yearly. The plan you pick is also what your billing carries on with when the year ends. This is not a credit or a voucher. It is your own subscription, with the billing for those months waived. The details, including when the year starts if you already pay, are in when you get your free year.

There is no limit. Every card you fill is another free year. You turn cards in one at a time, and the years run one after the other. A filled card stays on the page with all its stamps, and the next card starts beside it.

Who sees the Refer & Earn page?

It is the page for the person whose plan is being billed. An account that is added to someone else's subscription as a secondary account does not earn referral years, because it does not pay for the plan. See understanding primaries and secondaries.

What to know

  • Your link is credited to the last link a person clicked, for up to 90 days after they clicked it.
  • Signing up through your own link does not credit you.
