How to read the Sync status page
Updated 4 October 2026
The Sync status page lists every event GetCalendario picked up, what it decided about each one, and what actually landed on the other calendar. For each event it gives one of three answers: Synced, Not synced or Outside window, and where the answer is not a plain yes it says why in words, naming the rule or the date involved.
Start with the three counts at the top, then narrow the table below them. Click any row to open it and see the event on the source calendar next to what was written to the destination. If an event is missing from the other calendar and you want a checklist instead, see why is my calendar not syncing.
The three counts
The tiles count the events in the date range you have chosen, for the connection you have chosen:
- Synced: the event was copied. A small line under the number, such as "3 with details hidden", counts the copies where a rule removed the title, notes and location.
- Not synced: the event was looked at and deliberately not copied.
- Outside window: the event is outside the days your plan syncs, so it was never looked at.
Click a tile, or a button in the row of buttons below the filters, to show only that kind. Pressing it again clears it. The buttons add two more: Not checked and Details hidden.
What each answer means
Synced. The event reached the destination calendar. It may have been changed on the way, and the Transforms column lists how.
Not synced. The reason is shown in the row, and in full when you open it:
- Your filter says don't sync when... a sync rule on that connection matches the event. The sentence names the rule and, if you have several connections, which one. See how to stop certain events from syncing.
- This event was canceled, or You declined this event. Cancelled and declined events are not copied.
- Skipped to avoid syncing this event back into the calendar it came from. This is loop protection, not a rule: an event that arrived from a calendar is not sent back to it.
- The connection was deleted, with a note saying whether the events it added were removed or left in place.
Outside window. The event is beyond your plan's sync window:
- "Your plan syncs [dates], and this event is further back than that / further ahead than that." The event is beyond your plan's sync window. An event ahead of the window syncs on its own once its date moves inside. An event behind the window does not come back into range as time passes. See how far back and forward sync goes.
Not checked. The event is outside the dates you asked for, so nothing was re-read for it. The row shows what the last background check recorded, or says that it did not look.
The table
The columns are Event, Event date, Synced, Connection, What we did and Transforms. Click a heading to sort.
- Synced shows when the event last synced. It says "removed" with a time if the copy was taken away, and "not recorded" if no time has been recorded for that event yet.
- Connection shows both ends, with their accounts, and marks a connection as deleted if it was.
- Transforms says what changed on the copy. Chips you may see: title replaced, title prefixed, notes replaced, notes stripped, location copied, marked private, buffered, label applied, importance set, title changed, and details hidden by the calendar's owner. The page separates changes made by a rule from changes made by the connection's own settings.
Opening a row also shows Recent history: a short list of when the event started syncing, stopped, or started again. If history is not being recorded, the page says so instead.
All times appear in the Timezone you pick, with the zone's name beside them. The dates in the filters are read in the same zone. Your choice is remembered.
Notices at the top of the page
- "1 connection is paused and was not checked." Paused connections are skipped. See how to reconnect an account that stopped syncing.
- "We could not read [calendar] (Google) — the account may need reconnecting." The sign-in to that calendar has failed.
- "Dates after [date] are outside your plan's sync window" (or before), when your date filter reaches past what your plan covers.
- "History isn't being recorded yet", in which case every row shows its status as of the last refresh.
- "You're refreshing too often" or "Couldn't refresh just now", when a refresh was refused or failed. The last good data stays on screen.
How fresh is it?
The label beside Refresh now reads "updated just now", "updated 30s ago" and so on. The page asks again every 60 seconds while the tab is open and visible. Press Refresh now to ask straight away.
If you are a secondary account holder, you see only your own calendars, and an event whose details were hidden from you reads "Hidden by" the person who set the rule. For what secondaries are, see understanding primaries and secondaries.
